We can provide 1 free archive box for each square foot of space in your storage room.
To benefit from this offer you must opt to prepay your first year's storage.
You can still benefit from both our move in and prepayment discounts on your storage.
You can still move out at any time and receive a refund of unused time.
Additional boxes are available to buy at £9.99 + VAT each or to rent at 10p + VAT per box per week.

Archive Box Capacity
Each of our archive boxes will hold double the contents of typical cardboard archive boxes:
- 1 Filing cabinet drawer (our boxes have integral rails for suspension files).
- 3 Box files stored side by side to let you access one without lifting others.
- 4 Foolscap lever arch files with spines visible when you open the lid
- 5 A4 lever arch files with spines visible when you open the lid
- 35 Foolscap suspension files on hanging rails built into the box.
- 43 A4 suspension files on hanging rails built into the box.
- 4000 sheets of A4 paper
- CD's, photos, backup tapes, books & more.

How Much Space Do I Need?
Most records management companies use small 1 cubic ft cardboard boxes.
We provide FREE plastic boxes that hold 2 cubic feet each so you only need half the number of boxes.
We can provide 1 free plastic archive box for every square foot of storage room space you use.
Additional boxes can be purchased for £9.99+VAT or rented for 10p+VAT per box per week.
You can store other items like furniture, stock or equipment in any extra space in your room.

You can store your boxes in whatever arrangement you like in your room. Our suggestions below show possible layouts if you are using our free plastic archive boxes. They can be adapted to any of the 40 sizes of room in our stores to find the most cost effective archive storage solution for your needs.
Archive Storage Box Arrangement 1
For easy access to all your boxes whilst leaving space to store other items in your room store them like this.
This image shows a 10 ft x 10 ft storage room (100 sq ft) with 133 of our Storagebase archive boxes.
A less wide room with this storage format will be cheaper and let you store very nearly the same number of boxes but with less space in the middle.
